The Everything Store: Jeff Bezos and the Age of Amazon

To be honest I didn’t know the full story of Amazon. I knew they started with books and now you can buy nearly anything on their website.

This book was an awesome read.

I really enjoyed all the stories from previous employees and the work ethic of Jeff Bezos. A lot of people would struggle to meet his high expectations but it was a great read to understand Amazon’s culture.

Brad Stone did a great job of starting from the beginning and taking you through each iteration Amazon made to its business.

Biggest Insights

Amazon spared no expense when it came to innovating for the future. However, they have also created a frugal culture. They do a lot of things right and their start is truly inspiring.
